Mozzo’s founder Grant Lang started sharing exceptional espressos from a wind- and solar-powered art-covered coffee cart on the streets of Southampton, UK. Coffee lovers flocking to the vibrant tuktuk celebrated the connection made over coffee and Mozzo’s early community initiatives - asking customers to vote monthly on support for local social causes. Championing emerging talent, Grant also customized the coffee cart to display local artists’ work, a community-centered approach that drew attention from both regional and national press.

EXPANDING IMPACT

2010 signaled Mozzo’s first own-roasted blend (known today as HOUSE) and from there Mozzo magic rocketed into leading hospitality hot spots nationwide. Continually looking to evolve the company’s community impact, the C2C Fund was officially established in 2015 – a fixed contribution per coffee sale built directly into the business model.

Marking another milestone, in 2020 Mozzo Coffee was first served in the land of the free and the home of the brave through our partnership with CitizenM Hotels. Since then, our coffee beans can now be found brewing in 19 hospitality-partner locations across North America from Boston to Chicago, Austin to LA.

Today, magic is roasted into Mozzo’s carefully crafted collection of beans at our state-of-the-art roastery, Mozzo World.
