MEET FESTIVE SPIRIT

Every year we release a seasonal winter blend called FESTIVE SPIRIT. Named to capture the progressive warmth, kindness and togetherness of the holiday season. Each year we choose community and purpose-focused producers to help bring this spirit to life, in and out of your cup.

This year's blend hails from two formidable female-focused coffee producers from different sides of the world: Donas Do Café in southeastern Brazil and Rebuild Women’s Hope in eastern DRC.

Available as wholebeans or ground for espresso and filter brewing.

    Sourced from two family-owned, female-focussed farms from SMC cooperative, this naturally processed single origin offers a sweet, smooth and well-rounded cup with notes of quince, pear and a lingering 'rum-like' finish.

Meet our seasonal producers

This year, FESTIVE SPIRIT blend hails from two formidable female-focussed coffee producers from different sides of the world. Donas Do Cafe in south-eastern Brazil and Rebuild Women’s Hope in eastern DRC.

From Brazil, we've sourced coffee from two family-owned, women-led farms – Sitio Sao Jao and Sitio Maranhao – both contributing farms to the Donas do Café project, which champions and brings visibility to the women working, and often leading, in several coffee farms within SMC coffee cooperative.

Across the continent in DRC, Rebuild Women's Hope was founded in 2013 by Marceline Budza with a mission to empower the often marginalised women of rural DRC through financial autonomy, gained by producing coffee.
